Heading into this week's AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets have had some mounting injuries that are an obvious concern of rookie head coach Rex Ryan.

Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis and linebackers David Harris and Bart Scott are probable for Sunday's title game despite being limited at practice on Friday with injuries.

Ellis has a broken left hand that will be in a cast for the game against Indy. He'll have surgery after the game, whether New York wins or loses. The injury does effect Ellis' ability to wrap up. Ellis said he can't grab well with the hand and it causes him a lot of pain.

"But at this point, a lot of players play with a lot of injuries," Ellis said. "You just go out there and just play."

He suffered the injury last week against the Chargers. It occurred on the first play the Jets 17-14 victory while
Ellis was engaged with a blocker.

"I'm just going to go out there and see how I adjust," he said. "I'm not going to go out there and be a handicap to the team. If some thing's not going right, I'll just come out. I'm not going to be that selfish."

Harris and Scott are both nicked with sore ankles, however neither player was noticeably hobbled during Friday's practice.

Jets safety Kerry Rhodes was a full participant in New York's practice on Friday after bumping his right knee in practice on Thursday limited him.

"It's cool," Rhodes said. "I ran around a little bit today. It felt good."

Cornerback Donald Strickland is another banged up Jets defender, but he fully participated in practice despite breaking his right pinkie earlier this week. He said he got his hand tangled in a wide receiver's facemask or jersey, but will be fine.

"I'm not staying out," he said. "I've been waiting for this for four years."
