NFC Championship Preview - Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints

NFC Championship After an exciting Divisional Round Playoff weekend, the NFC Championship is set and Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings will be heading down the bayou to take on the Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.
There were some questions about the Vikings whether they would be able to handle the red-hot Dallas Cowboys coming into Sunday, but Minnesota put on a show on both sides of the ball.
The Vikings pounded the Cowboys 34-3 to earn the right to play for a conference title against the Saints.
Brett Favre was 15-of-24 for 234 yards and four touchdowns. The Minnesota defense kept the Dallas offense out of the end-zone for the first time since Week 11. The Cowboys came in to Sunday averaging just under 25 points per game over their last four wins.
The last time Dallas won a playoff game on the road was the NFC championship after the 1992 season.

It's clear that the odds makers feel that their will be a lot of points scored in this Sunday's match-up. Both offenses have really given fits to opposing defenses.
Last weekend Saints running back Reggie Bush had one of his best days as a pro, scoring twice on big-plays on offense and special teams. He 83-yard punt return for a touchdown put the game away in the third quarter for New Orleans.
For the Vikings, Favre found wide-out Sidney Rice three times for touchdowns. Rice had 6 receptions for 141 yards.
It's going to come down to whichever defense can slow down the others high-powered offense.
