Sunday afternoon in Qualcomm Stadium, the San Diego Chargers get set to play host to the New York Jets in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs.

The 13-3 Chargers have won 11 straight, but they hope that a week off last weekend in the Wild-Card Round does slow down any of the momentum that helped them get the conference's No. 2 seed. New York is riding high and full of confidence after last week's 24-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

NFL odds makers like the Chargers chances as the spread in Vegas is sitting at more than a touchdown. The line is at, San Diego -7.5 with the total in the game set at 43.

New York's No. 1 ranked scoring defense will be trying to slow down Phillip Rivers and the Charges prolific offense. Jets Cornerback Darrelle Revis has been spectacular. Over the course of the season, he has shut down the likes of Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith and Terrell Owens.

This week Revis will almost certainly be matched-up against Vincent Jackson for most of the day.

Rivers has connected with Jackson almost 70 times for over 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns. The Chargers will have to get LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates the ball early to open up some good looks for Jackson down the field.

Offensively, New York is going to try and pound their No. 1 ranked rushing offense down the Chargers throats. San Diego has the 20th ranked defense against the run.

San Diego is going to come out at a furious pace. New York's style of running, controlling to clock, and playing tough defense just does not work if they are forced to play from behind.

Take the Chargers and give the 7.5 points.
