Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon in the Metrodome, the NFL playoffs continue with an NFC match-up between the red-hot Dallas Cowboys and the North Division Champion Minnesota Vikings.
The Cowboys have won four straight including their first playoff victory in over a decade and Tony Romo and the Dallas offense is rolling. The Vikings haven't taken the field in two weeks, but that may be exactly what 40-year-old quarterback Brett Favre needs to make a run at a Super Bowl Championship.
NFL odds makers see this one being extremely close as the spread in Las Vegas is sitting at about a field goal. The line is sitting at, Minnesota -2.5 with the total in the game set at 45.5.
Before losing three-of-four in December, the Vikings were hoping for a chance at the No.1 seed and home field advantage throughout
However they ended up needing a Week 17 win over the New York Giants to lock down the No. 2 seed to earn the right to host this Divisional Round match-up with the Cowboys.
Dallas played their way out of a late season slide after dropping their first two games in the December. That's something that has plagued the Cowboys for years.
After dropping a heart-breaker at home against San Diego on the 13th, Dallas went to New Orleans and took a huge game from the Saints, turning their season around.
This Sunday's game is going to be all about the defense that can slow down the others offense and make big plays. Both of these offenses have proven that they can score at will and put up points in bunches.
Expect the Dallas pass-rush to be all over Favre today.
Take the Cowboys getting the 2.5 points.
