Saturday afternoon in the Superdome, NFC powerhouses square off in the divisional round of the playoffs when Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints host Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona comes off a huge over-time win over the Green Bay Packers last week in the wild-card round, while the Saints got some much needed rest after securing the No. 1 seed and a first round bye after going 13-3 in the regular season.

NFL odds makers like New Orleans in this one as the Saints come in as a home favorite. The spread is sitting at about a touchdown with the line in Vegas at, New Orleans -7 with the total in the contest set at 57.5.

A week ago, the Cardinals won the highest-scoring playoff game in NFL history when they knocked off the Packers 51-45 in OT. Warner threw for 379 yards and more touchdowns (five) than incompletions (four), it was Arizona's defense that allowed it to escape. It was Karlos Dansby's 17-yard fumble return for a touchdown that was the difference in overtime.

"We knew how tough it was going to be on our defense with all the weapons they have offensively and how they've been playing," Warner said. "It was just one of those games where I felt great. I loved our playing. I felt like I was seeing everything well and it accumulates to 51 points."

On route to the NFC's top seed, the Saints scored 45 or more four times in the first six weeks and at least 35 three more times. Brees threw for more than 4,300 yards and 34 touchdowns in the regular season.

This week's game has all the makings of being another scoring-fest like last weekend in Arizona.

Take the over 57.5 points in this one.
