Wednesday night in Boise, the 13th annual Humanitarian Bowl features a battle between the 7-5 Bowling Green Falcons and the 7-5 Idaho Vandals in Bronco Stadium.

Bowling Green star wide-out Freddie Barnes is very close to setting an NCAA record for receptions and if Idaho continues to play defense like it has played recently, it's a good bet he'll be able to do it in this game.

NCAA odds makers see this match-up being extremely close, but are calling the Vandals a slight favorite. The line in Vegas is sitting at, Idaho -1 with the total in the contest set at 68.

Bowling Green appeared to be headed nowhere under first year coach Dave Clawson as they came out of the gates at 1-4. However, Barnes' 16 touchdowns, 138 receptions and over 1,500 yards receiving sparked the Falcons offence to finish the
regular season winning six of their final seven games.

Barnes and the Falcons will have to overcome what should amount to a home crowd in Boise, Idaho, when they take on a Vandals team that will be making its first bowl appearance in over ten years.

Idaho shocked many prognosticators by putting together its first winning season since 1999. They were predicted by most to finish dead last in the in the WAC like they did in each of the past two seasons.

Quarterback Nathan Enderle has put together a huge season for Idaho. The Junior signal caller has tosses 18 touchdowns while throwing for over 2.600 yards this season for the Vandals.

Both of these squads pass first and ask questions later. This should be an exciting game to watch with a lot of offense.

Take the over, even with the total sitting at 68, this game could fly way over that number.
