On Saturday in the Little Caesars Bowl, the Ohio Bobcats look to win their first bowl game in school history. They return to Ford Field after they failed to win their first Mid-American Conference title in 31 seasons.

The 9-4 Bobcats go for their first 10-win season since 1968 as they face Marshall. The Thundering Herd is 6-6 and will be trying to avoid their fifth straight losing season.

NCAA odds makers are calling the Bobcats the favorite as the Vegas line is sitting at, Ohio -3 with the total in the game set at 49.

Winners of the MAC East for the first time since 2006, Ohio lost 20-10 to Central Michigan in the conference championship game on December 4th.

In 2009, the Bobcats have been lead by senior quarterback
Theo Scott. The six foot two, 209 pounder from Long Beach, California took over the starting job after Boo Jackson suffered a torn labrum on September 12th. Scott threw for over 2,200 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Ohio will look to end a four-game losing streak against the Thundering Herd. Marshall is playing in their first bowl game since a 2004 Fort Worth Bowl loss to Cincinnati's 32-14.

After a strong start Marshall dropped 3 of 4 to end the regular season, prompting Coach Mark Snyder to resign after going 21 and 37 over five seasons.

Defensive coordinator, Rick Minter will serve as interim coach for the bowl game.

Look for Ohio to be able to control the ball on offense and play good enough defense to slow down the Herd.

Take the Bobcats and give the 3 points.
