Baltimore Ravens Sunday in Baltimore, the NFL was forced to push the start-time back from 1:00 to 4:15pm because of the huge snow storm that dumped about a foot and a half of the white stuff all across the east coast.
When the Ravens host the Chicago Bears in M&T Bank Stadium the storm is expected to have pushed through, however temperatures in the 20's and strong winds could come into play. The ground game should be the key.
NFL odds makers are calling the Ravens a huge home favorite as the spread is listed at more than two scores. The Vegas line is sitting at, Baltimore -11 with the total in the contest set at 39.
Right now, the Ravens hold the last AFC wild-card spot. At 7-6, they are in a tie with the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets, but
Last Sunday agianst the Lions, running back Ray Rice rushed for a career-high 166 yards on 13 carries and the Ravens set team records for rushing touchdowns with five and total yardage with 548 in a 48-3 home rout of Detroit.
Defensively, the Ravens are giving up just 12.6 points per game while going 5-2 at home. They could get a big boost if star safety Ed Reed is able to return after missing the last two games with a hip injury.
That may cause a big headache for Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Reed is one of the best safeties ever to play the game.
Baltimore is going to pound the ball on the ground against a Bears defense that ranks 25th in the league against the run.
Take the Ravens and give the points.
