Cowboys vs Browns In week one of the NFL season the Dallas Cowboys travel to the Cleveland Brown Stadium to take on the Browns. Both teams will be looking to get their seasons off on the right foot. The Browns enter 2008 as serious playoff contenders while the Cowboys are an NFC favorite to get to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys open as 6 point favorites over the Browns on the road, the total is set at 49.
Dallas finished last regular season with an impressive 13-3 record, but a disappointing loss in the playoffs sent shock waves throughout the Lone Star State. Dallas looks to get over the playoff hump by returning 19 starters from last season, including 10 on one of the league's top rated defenses.

Although the Browns failed to make the playoff with a 10-6 record in 2007, they are poised to give the Steelers a run for their money for the division title. Cleveland QB Derick Anderson will play Sunday after missing time in the preseason while he recovered from a concussion. Jamel Lewis will also be in the lineup. Lewis was slowed in the preseason with a hamstring injury but is ready to go for the opener.
The Browns addressed their defensive problems from a year ago by adding nose tackle Shaun Rodgers and tackle Corey Williams.
"Everyone is excited they're here." said linebacker Willie McGinest, "We know what they can do. They're very high-level players and should complement the guys that are already here."
6 points is a lot to give up on the road against a team as good as the Browns. Take Cleveland getting 6 at home.
