Two months ago, there was little to suggest that neither the Dolphins or the Titans would be playoff contenders, but great play and a no-quick attitude has got both teams in the race for a wild-card spot.

NFL odds makers like the Titans as a home favorite in this one. The line in Vegas is sitting at, Tennessee -4.5 with the total set at 43.

After the Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night, the Baltimore Ravens currently hold the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC with the Dolphins and the New York Jets right behind them.

However,
both the Jets and the Dolphins are just one game behind the New England Patriots for the AFC East division lead.

Tennessee is still alive for a wild card spot as well, but they need a lot of help. The Titans have come from nowhere. After an 0-6 start, Tennessee has since won six of seven behind the inspired play of running back Chris Johns and quarterback Vince Young. The Titans are averaging more than 165 yards on the groung per game.

"It's an AFC elimination game basically," Tennessee defensive back Vincent Fuller said. "We have to win if we want to have hope for the postseason. We're fortunate to be able to say there still is hope for the postseason, but we know we have to win this game."

Look for the Titans and Chris Johnson to have another big day.
