New Orleans Saints This week the NFL moves to Saturday night with the Dallas Cowboys heading to the Superdome to take on the unbeaten New Orleans Saints in a game that the boys from "Big D" simply need to win.

That won't be easy as the Saints have goals of their own that they are focused on. At 13-0, New Orleans is off to the best season in the history of the franchise and they would love to finish the regular season undefeated and parlay that into a Super Bowl Championship.

NFL odds makers like the Saints in this one as they are calling New Orleans more than a touchdown favorite against the visiting Cowboys. The Vegas spread is sitting at, the Saints -8 with the total in the game set at 53.5.

Unlike the Indianapolis Colts, who have clinched the top spot in the AFC with their
unbeaten record, the Saints are still fighting for home field throughout the playoffs in the NFC.

It has not been easy for New Orleans, with last week's 26-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, the Saints set a franchise record for wins and clinched a first-round bye. However, for the second week in a row, their perfect record was in jeopardy late.

A week after the Redskins took the Saints to overtime, New Orleans needed a fourth quarter, 38-yard field goad from Garrett Hartley to edge out the Falcons.

For the Dallas Cowboys, their playoff hopes come down to one thing, winning some games in December. That is something that they have not done much of lately. Quarterback Tony Romo is 5-10 in December starts. I just don't see that trend ending against the Saints.
