Football Betting After opening the season with six consecutive victories, the Denver Broncos were probably the NFL's biggest surprise in the early part of the year. However, that's nothing compared to what the Indianapolis Colts have accomplished.

As we head into Week 14, the Broncos are 8-4 and the Colts are an incredible 12-0. This Sunday in Lucas Oil Stadium, the Colts seek a record-setting 22nd consecutive regular-season victory and look to clinch the AFC's top seed.

NFL odds makers like Indianapolis to do just that as the spread is sitting about a touchdown. The line in Vegas is set at, the Colts -6.5 with the total in the contest set at 44.

With quarterback Peyton Manning having another MVP-caliber season, the Colts have already clinched the AFC South for the sixth time in seven years.

Lately Manning has willed his team to victory over and over again. Since winning in
a walk against the St. Louis Rams 42-6 in Week 7, the Colts have won six straight by an average of about 4.6 points per game.

This week against the Broncos, Manning and his Colts have another tough one in front of them.

Denver is in the thick of the playoff race following wins over the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs by a combined score of 70-19. The Broncos had lost four in a row after a 6-0 start, but now are looking to stay on a roll and hand the Colts their first loss.

The Broncos resurgence has come in no small part because of their defense. The Broncos limited the Giants and Chiefs to an average of 244.5 yards and now their second ranked defense against the pass has the difficult task of trying to slow down Manning.

I think this is going to be another close one for the Colts, but the Denver defense will not be enough to get the Broncos a win.
