This Sunday when the New York Jets head to Raymond James Stadium to take on Tampa Bay, the Bucs will have to deal with a new look in the Gang-Green offense.

Quarterback Mark Sanchez has been ruled out, as expected, along with offensive lineman Robert Turner. Sanchez sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Buffalo last Thursday. Coach Rex Ryan has decided to sit him against the Buccaneers and Kellen Clemens will start in his place.

Even with the Jets as banged-up as they are, NFL odds makers are still calling them a road favorite in this one against the Buccaneers. The spread in Vegas is sitting at, New York -3 with the total in the game set at 37.

The Jets appeared to be on its way toward missing the post-season for sure after dropping six of seven following a 3-0 start. However, now at 6-6 following consecutive wins against Carolina and Buffalo, they have rived their playoff
hopes somewhat.

New York is one game back of AFC East Division leader New England, but will most likely need to win out for any chance of over taking the Pats. But they are right in the thick of the wild-card hunt.

"I think you can make assumptions that our morale was down," said Ryan. "Everybody in this building believes in this football team, that we can still accomplish things. We're close to being a special football team. Nobody can deny that."

Playing the Bucs may be just what New York needs to continue gaining momentum. Tampa Bay has lost 15 of 16 dating back to last season, including a 16-6 loss to a Carolina Panthers team that has been in turmoil all season and was also playing them with a back-up under center.

Look for the Jets 2nd ranked defense to take over in this one. New York is second to only Green Bay in yards allowed per game and has given up and NFL best 167 yards per game through the air.

Take New York on the road and give the 3 points.
