Monday Night Football Tonight in Green Bay, the Baltimore Ravens come into Lambeau Field to take on the Packers in a game that features a pair of teams needing a win to keep pace with the rest of the post-season picture. While the 7-4 Green Bay Packers currently hold one of the wild-card spots in the NFC, the 6-5 Ravens are in the mix with Denver, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville for the two AFC wild-card berths.
Though the Ravens have alternated wins and losses over their last five games, they allowed an average of 11.6 points per game while going 3-2 in November and their remaining five opponents have a combined .400 winning percentage.
NFL odds makers are calling the Packers a home favorite in this one. The spread in Vegas is at just about a field goal as the
Green Bay looks for a fourth straight victory after a 34-12 Thanksgiving Day rout of Detroit, while Baltimore is coming off a 20-17 overtime win over Pittsburgh last Sunday.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was 28 of 39 for 348 yards with a career-high-tying three touchdowns, Donald Driver caught seven passes for 142 yards with a touchdown.
The key to tonight's game will be the Baltimore defense. It's no big surprise that a game involving the Ravens will come down to defense. However, Baltimore will be with out Ed Reed, who will be a late scratch. and Terrell Suggs will be out again.
Aaron Rodgers is going to pick apart the Ravens secondary.
Take the Packers and give the 3.5 points at home.
