Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans
Sunday afternoon in Lucas Oil Stadium, two of the league's best take the field as the 11-0 Indianapolis Colts host the red-hot Tennessee Titans in one of the most anticipated games of the weekend.

Peyton Manning has his Colts on top of the AFC once again after giving way to the defending South Champion Titans in 2008. After a dreadful start to this season Tennessee was expected to pack-it-in for 2009, but they would not go quietly. After an 0-6 start, the Titans have won five straight and find themselves in the middle of the AFC playoff picture.

Last week, the Colts became the first team to secure a playoff berth with last Sunday's come-from-behind 35-27 win over the Houston Texans. Indy gained the AFC South title later that evening when San Francisco beat Jacksonville 20-3.

This week, NFL odds makers like their chances to stay on a roll at home against the Titans
as the spread in Vegas is at about one touchdown. The line is sitting at, Indianapolis -7 with the total in the contest set at 46.

The Colts got some great news on the defensive side of the ball as defensive end Dwight Freeney is expected to play after missing almost a month with an abdomen injury.

The Titans are going to have to control the game on the ground to stay in this one. Running back Chris Johnson has at least 125 rushing yards in all six games since he was held to nine carries for 34 yards in the first meeting. Quarterback Vince Young's threat as a runner has opened more holes for Johnson, and Young is proving he can move the ball with his arm as well.

Look for the Titans to do just that; run the ball and keep it close. Seven points is a lot to give to a team playing as well as the Titans. The Colts have won their last five games by an average of about 3.5 points.

Take the Titans getting the points on the road.
