In Week two of the NCAA Football season the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets travel to North to take on their ACC rival Boston College Eagles. Both teams are coming off convincing wins against sub par opponents. There is a growing trend of BCS teams playing a so called "powder-puff" teams in its opener. This is thought of as almost like a preseason game.

Georgia Tech played Jacksonville State in week one and took home a 41-14 victory. They looked solid, pouring out over 200 yards of offense in the first half.

Georgia Tech played Jacksonville State in week one and took home a 41-14 victory. They looked solid, pouring out over 200 yards of offense in the first half.

Boston College took on Kent State in their opener and won 21-0. A nice performance by their defence pitching a shut-out. On offense the Eagles did what they had to do to win against an inferior opponent.

In week two, the season really begins for both. The match-up will pit strength against strength. The Boston College defense returns almost all of it's starters from last year. This defense limited opponents to 75.5 rushing yards per game. The Yellow Jackets will have to run and run a lot more in 2008 to be successful. That will be Tech's game plan Saturday.

"We are not going to surprise BC at all, we just have to go out there and execute," Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson said. "They know what we are going to do. We know what we are going to do. The question is, who is going to impose their will?"

If the Yellow Jackets execute better on offense than Boston College does on defense than Tech will be running and controlling the tempo.

Boston College should be able to control Tech's offense enough to win, Take the Eagles at home minus the 6 1/2.
