MAC Championship Friday night at Ford Field in Detroit, the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Ohio Bobcats face-off in the Mid-American Conference Championship game.
At 9-3 overall and 7-1 in the conference, this is the second time in four years that the Bobcats have won the East division, while the 10-2 Chippewas have made their own history this season with their first eight-win and unbeaten MAC schedule.
The won opened at, Central Michigan -10.5, but with much of the early action coming in on the Chippewas, NCAA odds makers have been moving this one daily. The spread in Vegas is now sitting at, -14 with the total in the contest set at 53.
Ranking 14th in the nation in scoring offense, the Chippewas boast one of the best in the country totaling up more than 32 points per game and an average of over 420 yards.
While Central Michigan has a great signal caller, Ohio isn't complaining about the talent they have under center. Theo Scott saved the best for last as the Bobcats beat Temple 35-17. He was outstanding, throwing for a career high 324 yards and three scores with no interceptions, completing 17-21 passes.
As well as the offense has played, it's been Ohio's big play defense that has been catching headlines. Ohio has forced 35 turnovers this season after picking off three passes against Temple. It enters the MAC title game with a +14 turnover ratio.
Look for the Bobcat defense to keep them in this one.
Take Ohio getting the 14 points.
