Drew Brees Drew Brees tossed five touchdowns and threw for 371 yards and the New Orleans Saints joined the Indianapolis Colts as the only teams in the NFL to remain unbeaten at 11-0 after beating the New England Patriots 38-17.
This Monday Night Football game had a playoff atmosphere and the Saints silenced a lot of critics proving that they could win a tough game against a very good team.
Brees only threw five incomplete pass all night going 18-for-23. He became the first quarterback to throw for three touchdowns against a Bill Belichick coached team.
The convincing victory placed a stamp on what the New Orleans Saints have become. They have a great offense, an extremely talented defense and now they have proved that they can win a huge game.

Tom Brady, returning to the Louisiana Superdome for the first time since leading the Patriots to their first Super Bowl title in 2002, was 21 of 36 for just 237 yards and did not throw a TD pass. He did, however, become New England's all-time passer, passing Drew Bledsoe.
The Pats have now fallen to 7-4 and have not won a game in another team's stadium. In New England can't win on the road, the AFC East could get very interesting as the Patriots still have to go to Miami, Buffalo and finish the season in Houston.
