The Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Gators are renewing their rivalry this Saturday night in Gainesville. The Hurricanes have a slight edge in the series (28-25), but the Gators have not beaten Miami in 23 years. However, Florida sits as a 22 1/2 point favorite over "The U" with the over at 51 1/2.

Of course times have changed in the NCAA and the 5th ranked Gators are now the powerhouse and the Canes head into the Swamp trying to get themselves back on to the national stage. This game is a perfect game for Miami to play early in the season. They have the opportunity to showcase themselves against one of the best teams in the nation.

If Miami plays well or comes out of Gainesville with a victory, they will receive instant recognition and will certainly break into the top 25.

Florida QB and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is too young to have seen much of the history between these two schools. All he needs to know is that his Gators have a six game losing streak against the Hurricanes. "We need to win because I don't know when's the next time we'll get an opportunity at them," Tebow said.

The Gators will be trying to score early and often, eliminating any confidence the Canes have coming in. The Canes will try to contain the Gators high powered offense and control the tempo of the the game from the start. This won't be easy as the Gator have far to much talent in all aspects of the game.

Take the Hurricanes getting the 22 1/2, the Gators will win, but the Canes will keep it closer than expected.
