NFL Betting Lines The 10-0 Indianapolis Colts look to remain perfect as they head to Reliant Stadium to take on the Texans in a game that 5-5 Houston needs to win to stay in the AFC playoff picture.
Indianapolis holds a three-game lead in the chase for the AFC's top seed and its 19-game winning streak is the second-longest in NFL history behind New England's 21-game run from 2006-08.
NFL odds makers see this one as pretty close as the spread in only a field goal. The Vegas line is sitting at, Indianapolis -3 with the total set at 47.5.
The Colts can clinch the AFC South for the sixth time in seven years with a victory this week coupled with a Jacksonville loss to San Francisco.
Although Indianapolis keeps racking up the wins, what they are doing can hardly be called domination as they have won their last four games by
"We certainly feel we've developed a pretty solid mental toughness," said Indianapolis first-year coach Jim Caldwell. "Hopefully, it's going to serve us down the road and make us continue to get better. Hopefully we can benefit from it."
The Texans have not been as fortunate. Houston has lost their last two straight by a combined 6 points, including a 20-17 heart-breaker at Indy on November 8th in which Texans kicker Kris Brown missed a would-be game tying field goal as time expired.
Some might look to play the percentages and think that the Colts are bound to come up short eventually as they have just been playing in too many close games and this one will be tough on the road in Houston. However, I just can't bring myself to bet against Peyton Manning. He just finds a way to win over and over again.
Take the Colts and give the 3 point on the road.
