Atlanta Falcons
Sunday afternoon in the Georgia Dome, the Falcons host their NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Atlanta struggles to stay in the playoff hunt and get their sixth win of the season.

At 5-5, the Falcons need to rattle off a few wins as their .500 record has them currently on the outside looking in at the post-season. Tampa Bay on the other hand sits at 1-9, but would love to play spoiler the rest of the way.

To no one's surprise, NFL odds makers are calling Atlanta heavy home favorites in this one. The spread in Vegas is sitting at, the Falcons -12 with the total in the game set at 46.

Coming off losses in four of their last five games, all of them on the road, the Falcons have to be looking at their next three games at home as a good way to burst out of their rut.

"We've
got to win, man," wide receiver Roddy White said. "That's the biggest thing for us right now."

The best news for Atlanta is that leading rusher Michael Turner is ready to return from a high right ankle sprain. Turner, who had three straight 100-yard games before suffering the injury Nov. 15 against Carolina, returned to practice Wednesday.

For the Bucs, they came out of their bye with a nice win against the Green Bay Packers and then followed that up with a solid game agianst the Miami Dolphins in a loss. Then they ran into the red-hot New Orleans Saints and were blown out.

Since the insertion of Josh Freeman into the line-up at quarterback, the Tampa bay offense has looked a lot better. I look for them to be in this one to the end. I like Atlanta to win in a close game. They won' t cover.

Take the Bucs getting the 12 points.
