Not only do the Pittsburgh Steelers need to deal with the stunning loss they suffered at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, right now, they don't know who is going to be their quarterback next weekend in Baltimore.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left the game in overtime with what Steelers coach Mike Tomlin called a possible concussion. Then, back-up Charlie Batch suffered a wrist injury that will require surgery. Batch is expected to miss as much as six weeks.

This leaves the Steelers in a precarious situation. Although, Roethlisberger, who threw for 398 yards and three touchdowns, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette after the game that he felt OK, he will undergo tests Monday to determine the extent of the head injury.

So, Batch is definitely out and with Roethlisberger's status uncertain, the Steelers might have to turn to third-stringer Dennis Dixon and if that is the case, who will be Dixon's back-up?

Dixon was a fifth round pick out of Oregon in 2008, but he has not started an NFL game and has thrown just one pass in the league. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after the game that he was not certain how severe Roethlisberger's injury might be.

"He took a blow, needless to say, it was a concussion-oriented thing so I doubt he was going to come back into the football game," Tomlin said. "I don't have a lot of information in terms of where he is or his level of availability. We will have more information as we proceed."

The loss to Kansas City was the Steelers second in a row. They have fallen twice to division rival Cincinnati and were without injured Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu.
