Monday Night Football A few weeks back many experts didn't think too much of tonight's Monday Night Football match-up between the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans, but now opinions have changed.
The Titans are one of the hottest teams in the AFC, and the Texans are proving every week that they are one of the most explosive teams in all of the NFL.
The spread in Vegas is sitting at a little more than a field goal, as NFL odds makers are calling the Texans a home favorite. The line is at, Houston -4 with the total in the game set at 48.5.
Monday night the Titans head to Reliant Stadium in Houston to take on the Texans in what could shape-up to be a very important AFC battle. True, Tennessee and Houston both reside in the South Division, but the Colts, at 10-0 have that all but locked up.
At 5-4, the Texans are right in the middle of the AFC playoff picture, while, after an 0-6 start, the
With Vince Young under center Tennessee has turned their season around, but it has been the running of Chris Johnson that has made the difference. Young's dual threat has opened up Johnson to pound out nearly 500 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns in the Titans last three games.
Houston quarterback Matt Schaub has thrown for more than 2,600 yards and 17 touchdowns through the Texans first nine games. Schaub's 17 TD's has him third in the AFC behind only Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
I look for a lot of scoring in this one. The Titans need to get out on top from the start. Their offense with Young at the helm is better suited to hold a lead rather that play from behind. Houston and the passing game has proven that they are in any game at any time.
This one will be close, but I like the Titans getting the 4 points.
Take Tennessee getting the points.
