Patriots coach Bill Belichick took plenty of heat following last Sunday night's wild 35-34 loss to the Colts, stemming from his decision to go for it on fourth-and-2 from the Patriots' own 28-yard line with just over 2 minutes to go and his team leading 34-28.

Now, the hated Jets come in for a huge divisional match-up that could either put New York away for good with a Pats win or cause the AFC East to become wide open with a New England loss.

NFL odds makers really like the Patriots chances in this one. The spread in Vegas is at more than two score. The line is sitting at, New England -11 with the total in the game set at 45.5.

Last week's loss to Indy ended the Patriots' three-game winning streak and put a dent in their chances of gaining a first-round playoff bye, but New England still hold
a two-game lead on the Jets in the East as they try to reclaim the division they won five straight times before giving up the crown to Miami in 2008.

Tom Brady is back and fully recovered for last season's knee injury that kept him out of action for almost the entire year. Brady has thrown for over 2,700 yards and 19 touchdowns. Seven of those scores have been to his Pro-Bowl wide out Randy Moss. With Brady back in the line-up, Moss had racked up nearly 900 yards and is averaging more than 15 yard per catch.

The Jets have the No. 3 defense in the league, but have not been as dominant since an impressive 3-0 start under new coach Rex Ryan. The Jets' last six opponents have averaged 126.0 yards on the ground, with the team going 1-5.

The Jets always step it up against the Patriots. They will keep it closer than 11 points.

Take the Jets getting the points.
