Sunday in the Metrodome, Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings get set to host the Seattle Seahawks in an NFC Conference match-up.

At 8-1, Minnesota is atop the NFC North with a three-game lead over second-place Green Bay Packers, and just one game behind unbeaten New Orleans Saints in the race for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

NFL odds makers are calling the Vikings huge home favorites as the Vegas line is sitting at, Minnesota -10.5 with the total in the contest set at 46.5.

Favre has done a great job leading the offense, but the Vikings would not be in this position without Peterson. The 24 year old tailback is second in the NFL with 917 rushing yards and 11 TDs, while averaging 5.1 yards per carry.

Or is it that Peterson is playing well, but they wouldn't be here without Favre? The future Hall of Famer leads the NFL with a 107.5 passer rating, while ranking third in completion percentage. He's also thrown 17 touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Either way, the Vikings offense is really good.

The 3-6 Seahawks have struggled, but may be gaining some momentum, in their own mind at least. Star wide-out T.J. Houshmandzadeh has proclaimed that his team will not lose another game.

"I'd rather hear that than, 'Oh God, what are we going to do? How are we going to win?'" Mora said of Houshmandzadeh's prediction. "You can call it false enthusiasm, false confidence, but it's certainly the mindset you want your team to have."

Sorry T.J., in looking at the Seahawks' schedule, Seattle may be able string together a few wins down the stretch, but it's not going to start this week against the Vikings.

Take Minnesota and give the 10.5 points.
