TCU Horned Frogs Saturday afternoon in Laramie, the Wyoming Cowboys host the 4th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs as Texas Christian looks to keep putting the pressure on the top three teams and try to contend for a National Title.
Florida, Alabama and Texas are one, two and three respectfully, but the Horned Frogs are hot on their tails hoping that a couple of them stumble down the home stretch. One thing is for sure; if TCU keeps winning, they will almost certainly land a BCS Bowl berth.
NCAA odds makers expect the Frogs to keep winning this week as they are heavily favored against the Cowboys. The spread in Vegas is at more than four touchdowns as the line is sitting at, TCU -31 with the total in the game set at 47.5.
The Horned Frogs are hot right now. They silenced some critics last week when they beat up on then 16th-ranked Utah. The Utes were supposed to be
"I think we made a big statement," Frogs quarterback Andy Dalton said. "We played a great team in Utah. They have won 22 of their last 23 games. For us to come out and have a big win like this just shows what this program and team is about."
Most feel that Wyoming doesn't have chance in this one, but the Cowboys will be trying to prove otherwise as they look to prevent the Frogs from locking up at least a share of their first Mountain West title since 2005.
The Cowboys beat TCU 24-21 the last time the Frogs visited War Memorial Stadium in October of 2007 and this season Wyoming they hung close to then-No. 2 Texas back on September 12th, trailing just 13-10 at the half before letting the game get away after half-time.
I don't think this one will be close. Take the Horned Frogs and give the points.
