Ricky Williams Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams is showing the world that he has still got it.
Just a day after the Fins learned that Ronnie Brown was lost for the season, the 32-year-old Williams rushed for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Dolphins beat the Carolina Panthers 24-17 on Thursday night. The win is their fourth win in six games and puts them right in the middle of the AFC playoff picture.
Williams made history against the Panthers, personal history anyway. It was the first time in his career that the 2002 NFL rushing champion had a receiving and rushing touchdown in the same game.

When many experts felt that the Dolphins powerful rushing attack would be taking a big hit without Brown running the Wild-Cat, Williams stepped up and proved that he can still take control of a game.
Miami was in control for most of the game. The Dolphins took a 14-3 halftime lead when Williams took the direct snap at the 1 and got to the end zone with 57 seconds left in the second quarter. Before that he scored on a 14 yard pass from Chad Henne.
He then put the game out of reach when he busted a 46 yard run for a third score with just under 4 minutes left in the game.
The Panthers kicked a late field goal to pull within 7 and then Carolina got the ball back with just seconds to play. That drive ended when the Dolphins defense knocked down a Jake Delhomme desperation pass as time expired.
The Dolphins inproved to 5-5, while the Panthers fell to 4-6.
