Alabama has already clinched a spot in the conference title game, but there's still a lot at stake over the final weeks of the regular season.

The Crimson Tide will battler top-ranked Gators in the conference championship on December 5th in Atlanta with the results most
likely having major implications on the national title game. It is shaping up to look like this may be as close to a BCS "plus-one" as we are going to get anytime soon.

Mississippi State is coming off a bye following its win over the Kentucky Wildcats. The Bulldogs had a season-high 493 yards of offense in their last game, including 348 on the ground behind the rushing of running back Anthony Dixon.

The senior tailback carried 33 times for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Wildcats.

On paper, Alabama should win this game in a walk, however, something worries me about the Tide in this one. I look at how Mississippi State was able to hang around against the Florida Gators. If the Bulldogs can get some success running the ball early, they can keep this one close.
