South Florida Bulls
Thursday night under the lights of Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, NJ, the Scarlet Knights host the South Florida Bulls in what should prove to be a very good Big East Conference match-up.

Rutgers comes in at 6-2 and 1-2 in the conference while the Bulls also have a 6-2 overall record but they hold a 2-2 mark in the Big East. With both teams having two conference losses their chances for a Big East Title are almost non-existent. But this will be a battle in Jersey.

NCAA odds makers are calling the Bulls a slight road favorite. The Vegas line is sitting at, South Florida -1 with the total in the game set at 45.5.

Before the season began, USF was looking at 2009 and hoping it would be a special season with quarterback Matt Grothe leading the offense. However, Grothe went down early on with a
knee injury.

Freshman quarterback B.J. Daniels was forced to step in for the Big East's all-time leader in total offense. He has played well enough to keep the Bulls in the hunt for a nice bowl game and possibly double-digit wins.

Daniel is coming off a superb effort, throwing for a career-high 232 yards and three touchdowns and adding 104 more yards on the ground in a 30-19 win over then-No. 20 West Virginia.

The Scarlet Knights are also looking at a successful season staring them right in the face if they can stay the course.

Against the Bulls, Rutgers owns a three-game winning streak in the series, including a 2007 upset victory when the Bulls were ranked No. 2 in the nation and a lopsided 49-16 beat-down last season in Tampa.

Look for the Scarlet Knight to keep their streak alive.

Take Rutgers at home getting the 1 point.
