In Week 10, Thursday night football returns to the NFL schedule with an NFC Conference match-up between the 4-4 Bears and the 3-5 49ers. After a short week, Chicago heads to Candlestick Park in San Francisco with both teams needing a win to keep slim playoff hopes alive.

It will be 49ers head coach Mike Singletary's first game against his former team, but he won't be concerned with that that. Singletary will most likely be more focused on helping to snap his team's four game losing streak.

NFL odds makers see this one being pretty close as the Niners are slight home favorites. The Vegas line is sitting at, San Francisco -3 with the total in the game set at 43.5.

Turnovers have been killing the 49ers. Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, the Niners offense gave up the ball four times, including two interceptions by quarterback Alex Smith in the game's final six and a half minutes. Over the 49ers four game skid, they have turned the ball over 11 times.

"It's definitely frustrating to be at this point, but we do have eight games left," Singletary said. "We have to make sure we go out and play a complete football game without killing ourselves in the process."

The Bears might be the ones looking back toward the past. Chicago's defense is a far cry from the days that Singletary roamed the middle.

The Bears were torched for 438 yards in Sunday's 41-21 loss to Arizona, but that is 10 yards fewer than the 448 they gave up in a 45-10 defeat at Cincinnati on October 25th.

Both teams are struggling coming into this one, but I like the Bears to bounce back and get the win on Thursday night. I like Jay Cutler to play well in prime-time.

Take Chicago getting the three points on the road.
