Friday night under the lights of Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston, LA and in front of a national television audience the Boise State Broncos come in to town to take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on ESPN2 in a WAC Conference match-up.

At No. 7 in the Bowl Championship Series Standings, Boise State is in in prime position to earn another BCS bowl bid, but they will have to take care of business in order to get there. And it starts in Ruston.

NCAA odds makers like there chances against the Bulldogs as prognosticators are calling the Broncos heavy road favorites. The Vegas line is sitting at, Boise State -21.5 with the total in the contest set at 50.

After starting their season 5-0, the Broncos began the WAC schedule at Tulsa on October 14th with a 28-21 win in a game that left some big questions as to whether or not Boise State was for real. Since then, the Broncos produce a pair of blowouts, 54-9 at Hawaii and 45-7 last week against San Jose
State.

With Boise State, now 8-0 and 3-0 in the WAC, tearing through there conference schedule, it doesn't look good for the Bulldogs in this one.

Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore has tossed 24 touchdown passes to just 2 interceptions while throwing for over 1,900 yards through only 8 games. The Sophomore signal caller has produced a completion percentage of nearly 70% while hooking up with his favorite targets, Austin Pettis and Titus Young. Pettis and Young have combined for more than 80 receptions, 16 touchdowns and over 1000 yards.

The Bulldogs are coming off heart-breaking losses to Utah State and Idaho in their last two games, falling by a total of 3 points. In the Idaho game, they allowed the winning touchdown with 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter then the Bulldogs failed to convert a 56-yard field goal attempt as time expired.

Don't look for Louisiana Tech to right the ship this week against the Broncos. This one could get ugly.

Take Boise State and give the 21.5 points on the road.
