Friday night in Raymond James Stadium, the South Florida Bulls host the 20th ranked West Virginia Mountaineers in what could prove to be a huge Big East Conference match-up.

At 6-1, 2-0 in the conference, the Mountaineers will be trying to keep pace with Cincinnati and Pittsburgh on the top of the Big East standings. Both the Bearcats and Panthers are ranked higher than West Virginia and remain unbeaten in the conference as well.

NCAA odds makers see this one pretty close as the Mountaineers come into town as a small favorite on the road. The Vegas line is sitting at, West Virginia -3 with the total in the game set at 47.5.

West Virginia will face both of those teams in November, however they will first have to focus on the Bulls. South Florida helped deflate the Mountaineers' national title hopes the last time the teams met in Tampa. The Bulls' 21-13 win in September of 2007 gave then-No. 5 West Virginia their only road loss in an 11-2 season.

The Bulls are 5-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference, so their Big East Title hopes are all but gone. However, they would love to do some damage as they head down the stretch.

The Bulls are going to need a good performance from red-shirt freshman quarterback B.J. Daniels. With West Virginia's defense being among the nation's best against the run, Daniels will have to have a great day throwing the ball down the field to help get his team the victory on Friday night.

Daniels and the offense struggled last week back against the Pitt Panthers and should have a tough time this week as well.

Take West Virginia and give the 3 points on the road against the Bulls.
