NFL Football Picks The Indianapolis Colts are unbeaten after five games for the fifth time in the last seven years. At 5-0 they come off their bye week and head to St. Louis to take on the 0-6 Rams.
The Colts look to extend their franchise-record winning streak to 15 this Sunday while the Rams will be trying to snap a streak of their own. St. Louis currently has the NFL's longest losing streak at 16.
NFL odds makers look for treads to continue as they are calling the Colts heavy favorites on the road. The Vegas line is sitting at, Indianapolis -14.5 with the total in the game set at 45.5.
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning connected on 36 of his 44 passes for 309 yards with three touchdowns when the Colts defeated
Manning is completing a league-best 73.5 percent of his passes and even though he is off to one of the best starts of his career, he is not overlooking a winless Rams team that's giving up more than 28 points per game.
"I just don't think about a team's record when you play them," said Manning. "It's what's going to happen on this Sunday in St. Louis. That's what we have to worry about."
That's a great attitude to have, but Manning shouldn't have anything to worry about against the Rams. The St. Louis defense has not proved that they can stop anyone yet this season and against the three-time NFL MVP, it doesn't look like they will start now.
Take the Colts and give the 14.5 point on the road.
