Saturday afternoon in Razorback Stadium, Arkansas host the Auburn Tigers in and SEC Conference game that could prove to be one of the day's best.
Gene Chizik and his No. 17 Auburn Tigers look for the school's first 6-0 start in five years. At 5-0, the Tigers are really heading in the right direction after a disappointing 5-7 season last year under Tommy Tuberville.
NCAA odds makers are calling Auburn an slight road favorite against the 2-2 Razorbacks. The Vegas line is set at, Auburn -3 with the total in the game at 65.
After five games, the Tigers rank fifth in the nation averaging more than 520 yards per game and are second in points scored with 207. Running back Ben Tate is a huge part of why the Tigers have been such a success.
Tate is the SEC's No. 2 rusher with 108.0 yards per game, and had 128 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries last Saturday against the Tennessee Volunteers.
Quarterback Chris Todd has been great under center as well. Todd's 1,230 passing yards leads the conference.
Arkansas is also rolling, the Razorbacks are coming off a 47-19 victory over Texas A&M a week ago. After back-to-back losses to ranked SEC opponents, Georgia and Alabama, Arkansas scored 23 second-quarter points and cruised to victory over the Aggies.
Look for Auburn to keep the pressure on the Razorbacks all day long. The Tigers offense should be able to move up and down the field on the Arkansas defense. The Tigers should win this one big despite playing on the road.
Take Auburn and give the 3 points.
