Sunday night in prime-time, the San Diego Chargers head to Heinz Field to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that both teams are looking at as a "Must-Win."
The Chargers come at 2-1 looking up at the unbeaten Denver Broncos in the AFC West and the Steelers, at 1-2, can't afford another loss this early in the season.
NFL odds makers are calling the Steelers a home favorite in this one as the Vegas line is sitting at, Pittsburgh -7 with the total in the game set at 43.
After being out-scored 24-0 in the fourth quarter of their last three games giving them three-point losses at the Bears and the Bengals, the defending Super Bowl Champs are off to their worst start since 2006, when they opened 1/3 and finished 8-8.
Pittsburgh needs to turn it around before it's too late and it's not going too get any easier with the Chargers coming to town, but at least history is on their side.
The Chargers have never won in 13 regular-season matchups in Pittsburgh, and they lost 35-24 at Heinz Field in the divisional round of last season's playoffs.
Charger running back LaDainian Tomlinson has missed time with a sprained right ankle. However, the five-time Pro Bowler was back at practice Wednesday for the first time since getting hurt in the season opener and is expected to be back in the line-up Sunday night.
Without Tomlinson, the Chargers are last in the AFC with 66.3 rushing yards per game.
I think this one is going to be close than most think. Look for the game to be decided by a late field goal. Take the Chargers getting the 7 points.
