Week four in the NFL gets going on Sunday and their are some exciting match-up as the season moves into October. Each week NFL Football Picks features the weeks hottest games and offers free picks and expert analysis.

The biggest news this week will of course be Vikings quarterback Brett Favre and his showdown with the Packers as Green Bay head to the Metrodome with a share of first place in the NFL North on the line. Rex Ryan and an outstanding New York defense gets their toughest test thus far this season when they travel to New Orleans to take on Drew Brees and the explosive Saints offense. Finally, the unbeaten Broncos will try to say that way with the Cowboys coming to town.

In our first big game of the weekend, the 2-1 Dallas Cowboys head into Invesco Field at Mile High to take on the 3-0 Denver Broncos. Odds makers are calling the Cowboys road favorites with the line sitting at Dallas -3 with the total at 42.5. Josh McDaniels' Broncos have to be one of the league's biggest surprises as they sit on top of the AFC West. This will be a huge test for the Cowboys, both of their wins so far have come against win-less teams. Take the Broncos at home getting the 3 points.

Next up, a pair of unbeatens square off in the Superdome in New Orleans when the 3-0 Saints host the 3-0 New York Jets. NFL Odds makers are calling the Saints more than a touchdown home favorite as the Vegas line is set at New Orleans -7.5. Look for this one to be closer than the experts think, the No. 1 ranked Jets defense will keep this one close. Take the Jets on the road getting the 7.5 points.

The weekend most anticipated match-up comes on Monday night as Brett Favre finally get to face-off against the Packers. NFL odds makers are calling the Vikings home favorites as the Vegas line is sitting at Minnesota -4 with the total in the contest set at 45.5. Thus far, Favre has not had to carry his new team as running back Adrian Peterson has been the work-horse, but last week against the San Francisco 49ers, Favre showed that he still has a little magic left in his right arm. Favre threw foe over 300 yards and fired a game winning touchdown pass with just seconds to play. Look for both of these offenses to be highly motivated in this one. Take the over 45.5 points on Monday Night.
