Thursday night under the lights in Morgantown, the Colorado Buffaloes and West Virginia Mountaineers get set to square-off and after last season's thrilling overtime Buffaloes win, this could prove to be another fun one to watch.

With the Mountaineers heavily favored, there could their be another huge upset in the making.

Odds makers may be calling West Virginia a big favorite with the Vegas line sitting at the Mountaineers -17, but they were also favored a year ago when these two meet and the Buffs were able to pull out a 17-14 OT win.

Last time out, West Virginia had thoughts of possibly breaking into the Top 25 when they jumped out to a 21-10 lead against Auburn, but the Tigers battled back and won a shootout 41-30. It was the first road game and loss of the year for the Mountaineers, they opened the season with back-to-back home wins over Liberty and East Carolina and now sit at 2-1.

The Buffaloes come into this game at 1-2, having shut-out Wyoming 24-0 on September 19th. Colorado came out slowly in their first two games, so to correct the situation they used a no-huddle offense to begin the game against Wyoming. The result was a 69-yard drive that ended with a touchdown on their first possession and they never looked back.

In last years game, Rodney Stewart stole the show. As a freshman, he rush for a career-high 166 yards in the Buffaloes win. Colorado would love a repeat performance as their hopes of springing another upset will obviously depend on a big outing from their ground game.

But don't count on that happening. The Mountaineers will be ready for the Buffs this time out. It might be a game in the first half, however look for West Virginia to pull away late.

Take the Mountaineers and give the points.
