Terrell Owens Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens says that the media is trying to get him to stir things up in Buffalo, as he did with the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
Owens did not speak to the press after the Bills first two games. However, following Buffalo's most recent loss to the New Orleans Saints, Owens was forced to speak out.
He had been trying to take himself out of questionable situations and not do interviews because he is unhappy with the way the media portrays him, but according to Owens, the league told him that he had to speak in the postgame.
"So I was trying to take myself out of the situation and not do interviews at all,"
The Bills wide-out gave short and dismissive answers to reporters. He did not criticize his teammates or coaches, but his discontent was evident.
"I'm just going with the plays that are called," Owens said. "Whether I like them or don't, I'm just going with the plays that are called."
Look, I am not a huge fan of Owens', but if he doesn't want to talk, then let him stay quiet. I wonder what the league's stance is on alcoholics?
Send them to happy hour?
