After a week in which fans saw four teams in the top 10 lose, The Associated Press college football poll is looking at some big changes.

The No. 1 ranked Florida Gators had no problem beating The Kentucky Wildcats, but they lost their Heisman hopeful quarterback Tim Tebow to a concussion late in their 41-7 victory. Florida is idle this week, however they are looking ahead to a big match-up with the No. four ranked LSU Tigers on Oct. 10. There is no word yet as to...

After a week in which fans saw four teams in the top 10 lose, The Associated Press college football poll is looking at some big changes.

The No. 1 ranked Florida Gators had no problem beating The Kentucky Wildcats, but they lost their Heisman hopeful quarterback Tim Tebow to a concussion late in their 41-7 victory. Florida is idle this week, however they are looking ahead to a big match-up with the No. four ranked LSU Tigers on Oct. 10. There is no word yet as to Tebow's status for the LSU game.

By winning their games, Texas and Alabama remained at No. 2 and No. 3. LSU is No. 4 and rounding out the top 5 is Boise State. After beating Miami, Virginia Tech is in the sixth spot with USC at No. 7. Oklahoma, Ohio State and Cincinnati are 8, 9 and 10.

After beating Top 10 teams, Iowa at No. 13 and Oregon are back in the rankings.

There were some big losers after this weekends games as well. After being beaten badly by Oregon, California fell from No. 6 to No. 24 and Florida State, North Carolina and Washington all fell out of the top 25 after losing their games.

The Penn State Nittany Lions also lost its first game Saturday, falling 21-10 at home to Iowa. The Nittany Lions fell 10 spots to No. 15.

The University of Miami fell eight spots to No. 17 after they lost 31-7 to the Hokies.

A terrible weekend for highly ranked teams began Thursday night in South Carolina, when the unranked Gamecocks beat then-No. 4 Mississippi. Ole Miss fell 17 spots to No. 21.

Georgia Tech climbed back into the rankings and sit at No. 25.
