This Saturday's match-up between the No. 1 ranked Gators and Wildcats should prove to present little threat to Florida as they have not lost to Kentucky in more than two decades. However, this weekend could be a little different.

With many Florida players battling the flu, the Gators hope to overcome the spread of an illness and win their 23rd straight over Kentucky when they meet at Commonwealth Stadium.

NCAA odds makers apparently are not impressed with the rumors of the Gators being bed-ridden as Vegas is calling Florida a 22 point favorite on the road in Lexington. The total in the game is sitting at 53.5.

After starting the season with blowout wins over two non-conference opponents, Florida opened SEC play with a 23-13 win over the Tennessee Volunteers
last weekend. Against the Vols, the heavily favored Gators never really seemed to get going. They did not look at all like a team that is supposedly the best in college football.

"It wasn't how we envisioned or hoped," said Tim Tebow. "But it's a win and it's good enough for all of us."

As far as this weekend goes, Florida might not be at full strength. However, Kentucky witnessed how tough the Gators' backups can be in last season's 63-5 loss. Most of the Florida subs played the second half of that game.

Some might say that a game like this for Florida has let down written all over it, but I don't think so. The Gators have won the last 15 games of this series by an average of almost 30 point per game.

Don't expect much to change this Saturday. Take the Florida Gators and give the 22 point.
