NCAA Football Odds: Oregon State Beavers vs Stanford Cardinal

Stanford Stadium The NCAA Football season is beginning and Thursday night the Oregon State Beavers travel to Stanford to take on the Cardinal. Oregon State is the only BCS conference school to open the season with consecutive road games, next week the Beavers travel to Penn State to take on the 22nd ranked Nittany Lions.
Even with Oregon State on the road, the Beavers come into Stanford as 3 point favorites. The over on the game is 45 1/2.
Beavers QB Lyle Moevao Oregon State to three straight wins at the end of last year including their Emerald Bowl victory over Maryland. Moevao looks to build on last year's
"The number one thing you would have to say from this year to last year is Lyle's confidence," said coach Mike Riley. "That then relates into speed of play and decision making."
Stanford's success ride on second year starting QB Tavita Prichard. "Tavita has an excellent grasp of the offense." Said Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh. "I expect him to be better a month from now, four months from now and a year from now." Prichard started seven games last year. His most memorable, a 24-23 upset of the then 2nd ranked USC Trojans, in which he orchestrated a late drive for the winning score.
