Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys
Sunday night in Arlington, Cowboys Stadium opens it's doors for the first time in the regular season when Dallas hosts Eli Manning and the New York Giants in a huge early season NFC East match-up.

With both teams sitting at 1-0 and the Philadelphia Eagles losing to the New Orleans Saints earlier on Sunday, the winner will get a much need leg up in what could be the toughest division in the league.

NFL odds makers have the Cowboys at about a field goal favorite coming into this one. The line is sitting at Dallas -3 with the total at 45.

The Cowboys are leaving Texas Stadium after 37 years for the new state-of-the-art, retractable-roof facility, and they hope that doesn't spell the end of their recent home success against the Giants. However, history might be on their side as they were a perfect 7-0 at home the last
time they had a new home in 1971.

The last time these to met, it was the lowest point of the Giants 2008 season as the Dallas defense dominated. The Cowboys sacked Eli Manning eight times, intercepted him twice and limited him to 191 yards passing with no touchdowns. Dallas won that game 20-8.

Last week against the Redskins, New York capitalized on Washington mistakes to come away with a 23-17 victory. Manning was 20 of 29 for 256 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Against the Buccaneers a week ago, Tony Romo lit up the Tampa defense for over 350 yards and 3 touchdowns. However, this week, the Giants are not the Bucs.

This game will be intense and have a playoff feel to it. The only problem for the Cowboys is that they have not shown any one that they can win in the post-season. New York will spoil Cowboys Stadium's debut.

Take the Giants getting the 3 points.
