San Diego Chargers This Saturday night San Diego Charges will head east to play the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome at 8:00 pm. The game will be broadcast live on CBS as part of their preseason coverage.

Both of these teams have Super Bowl aspirations, but will use Saturday night to try and solidify their rosters as they push toward the regular season.

NFL odds maker have the Falcons sitting as home favorites with the line at 2.5 points. The total in the game is at 38.

The Chargers made some headlines this week way they finally extended quarterback Philip Rivers' contract and are looking for great production from him. With Rivers, LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates, the Chargers have plenty of weapons. They should be able to put up a lot of
points this season, however they may have been exposed a little last week against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cards defense bring some serious pressure and was able to get to Rivers four times. If the offensive line can't provide protection for Rivers, their stars won't be nearly as affective as they hope.

The Falcons will be looking run the ball with Michael Turner, they they are averaging 152 yards on the ground so far this preseason, picking-up right where they left off on 2009. Matt Ryan has looked very good leading the offense and Roddy White should once again be the Falcons go-to guy down the field.

The Chargers have some quality back-ups, this game should be relatively even, however, San Diego should pull way in the fourth quarter.
