Tennessee Titans Saturday night in Cleveland, the Tennessee Titans come in looking to get their running game back on track as the Browns continue to evaluate the quarterback position with Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson.
Cleveland is 1-1 thus far with a win against the Detroit Lions and a shutout loss at Lambeau Field to the Packers. Tennessee is 2-1 with wins against Buffalo and Tampa Bay and a loss last week in Dallas.
This game opened at even, but the line has since shifted slightly as NFL odds makes are now calling the Browns 2 point home favorites with the total in the game sitting at 37.5.
The Browns have split the starts between Quinn and Anderson in their two game so far. Both are expected to play extended minutes on Saturday. Head coach Eric Mangini has not yet named a starter, but in last week's 27-10 win over Detroit,
For the Titans, they are a team that will live and die by the run. However, they just have not been able to get things going on the ground. Without their dominating running game, the Titans offense has been somewhat lackluster.
The Titans are coming off a tough 30-10 loss to the Cowboys a week ago. Back-up Vince Young took a big step backwards in his progression for the Titans, throwing for 33 yards on 3 of 9 passing with an interception for a 5.6 quarterback rating. Kerry Collins looked a little better, throwing for 55 yards on 8 of 11 passing with one touchdown.
With the fourth quarter of most of these preseason game proving to be very unpredictable, expect early scoring to push the total high.
Take the over 37.5 points in this one.
