All eye were on Philadelphia Thursday night as Michael Vick made his debut with the Eagles against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Vick was greeted to a standing ovation by the Lincoln Financial Field crowd when he sprinted onto the field on the Eagles second offensive play. Coach Andy Reid didn't waist any time getting the former pro-bowler involved in the offense.

"It was awesome. When I was running out onto the field I was listening to see what the reaction was going to be," Vick said. "I was very pleased. I really didn't expect that reaction, but I was very thankful."

Vick was in for six plays, all within the first quarter and a half. He completed all four of his passes, ran for 1 yard and lined up in the slot for
one play in which he was a decoy as quarterback Donovan McNabb quickly pump faked to Vick then handed off.

"Everything he was asked to do, he did it well," said McNabb.

So much for the supposed protesters that many believed would be following Vick around. Some fans even chanted "We want Vick!" when he left the field.

Vick's presence overshadowed a somewhat lackluster performance by the Eagles. They trailed 29-20 as the fourth quarter began before rallying late to beat the Jags 33-32.

A 34 yard David Akers field goal with just 15 tics on the clock iced the win for Philadelphia.

In reality, the Eagles moved the ball a whole lot better on offense once Vick was done for the night. However, it was very important for Vick to get out there and make some plays.
