Indianapolis Colts
Saturday afternoon when the Lions host the Indianapolis Colts at Ford Field in Detroit, the intensity may be a little one sided in this preseason week three match-up.

The Colts come in knowing what they expect out of themselves in 2009, confident about their offense and feeling like anything short of a championship would be a disappointment. While the Lions are full of question marks.

NFL odds makers have the Colts at -3 with the total in the game sitting at about 39.5.

No one will deny that the Colts have the better offense and probably one of the best teams in the NFL for that matter, but the question is; how long will the starter actually
be on the field? If Peyton Manning sees any action in the second half, it would be a surprise. The Colts are saying that back-up Jim Sorgi may or may not play due to a sore hamstring.

Does any one even know who the Colts third-stringer is?

The Lions on the other hand are looking to test themselves against the Colts. Matthew Stafford and Daunte Culpepper are battling for the starting quarterback job and Drew Stanton has been playing well too.

Detroit won't be short on effort in this match-up while the Indianapolis Colts don't usually put a lot of stock in preseason games.

Believe it or not, the Lions should win this one at home.

Take Detroit getting the 3 points.
