Cowboys vs Titans Tonight in Dallas when the Cowboys host the Tennessee Titans in their first home game in 2009, it won't be just another meaningless preseason game.
All eyes will be on the surroundings as the Cowboys unveil their new $1.15 billion stadium. The first game at Cowboys Stadium will be nationally televised at 8PM Eastern on FOX.
NFL prognosticators are calling the Dallas the betting favorite at -2.5. The total in the game is sitting at 37.5.
Tennessee is 2-0 in preseason thus far, after wins against the Buffalo Bills in the Hall of Fame Game, and then last week at home against Tampa Bay. In that game a week ago, backup quarterback Vince Young was 9-of-14 for 131 yards and a touchdown, while starter Kerry Collins was
The Cowboys were blown-out by the Oakland Raiders in their first game 31-10. However quarterback Tony Romo looked good in limited action, throwing for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Dallas backups Jon Kitna and Stephen McGee are both learning the offense and are expected to be allowed to throw a little more tonight to get them ready for the regular season. Kitna is a skilled veteran, he should be fine, while McGee still has things to work on.
In preseason games, it is always tough to make predictions because of how little the starters actually get to play. In this one, both teams have very good back-up quarterbacks that should be able to put up points.
We could see a lot of scoring in this one. Take the over 37.5.
