Philadelphia Eagles
Thursday night in Indianapolis, Peyton Manning and the Colts host the Philadelphia Eagles at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts come in to this one pretty banded up. Defenders Bob Sanders, Michael Coe, Antoine Bethea, Kelvin Hayden and Robert Mathis are all not expected to see any action against the Eagles with various injuries.

Even with what translates to a skeleton crew on defense for the Colts, NFL odds makers are calling Indy the favorite in this one at home. Vegas has Indianapolis at -3 with the total in the game sitting at 36.

Even though they are favored tonight, the Colts didn't look particularly sharp in their preseason opener last Friday against the Vikings, losing 13-3 at home. Manning didn't have a pass
attempt and running back Joseph Addai carried only twice for 13 yards.

The Eagles also dropped their preseason opener, however they looked better than the Colts.

In their 27-25 loss to the Patriots at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles amassed 420 yards of total offense and totaled over 300 passing yards.

Both teams are expected to play their starters for a while, the Eagles for a full half and the Colts for at least a quarter.

The Eagles should have starting quarterback Donovan McNabb for the first half. Backup quarterback Kevin Kolb will not play due to injury. Third-stringer A.J. Feeley played well last week for the Eagles, throwing for over 200 yards.

The game will air live on FOX at 8PM. The first half should be a good one to watch.
