Ohio State Buckeyes Jim Tressel led Ohio State University to a 10-3 overall record in 2008 and the Buckeyes are once again the favorites to win the Big Ten. Can they make a run at a national title?
After a loss in last season's Fiesta Bowl, sophomore quarterback Terrelle Pryor is now entering his second full season under center. The Buckeyes hope they can be dangerous again in 2009.
Odds makers have given Ohio State 11/1 odds to win the BCS National Championship.
If the Buckeyes are going to pull-off a successful BCS Title run, they will likely have to go undefeated. Tressel and company believe that with Pryor at quarterback and a stout defense, Ohio State definitely has a chance.
Pryor led the Buckeyes in both passing yards and rushing yards
If the Buckeyes can get through Penn State, they should roll through the Big Ten this season.
A conference championship is well within their grasp, but a BCS Title may be a little too optimistic. The Ohio State Buckeyes are going to be a very good team this season, however they have a very tough schedule.
If Pryor sticks it out and follows through with four full years as quarterback of the Buckeyes, a National Championship could be in the future, but stay away from Ohio State this season.
