Texas Longhorns
Looking ahead to the 2009 season, the Texas Longhorns have their top passer, rusher and receiver all coming back, so they are feeling very good about their chances at a push toward a Big 12 Title and maybe even the BCS Championship.

Heisman Trophy finalist Colt McCoy will be returning for his senior season at Texas, however, so is Oklahoma Sooners quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford, so it stands to reason that this year's edition of the Red River Rivalry game could have major BSC implications.

Odds makers are calling the Longhorns one of the favorites to win it all at 8/1. Although experts expect to see Oklahoma, USC and the defending National Champion Florida Gators all in the mix.

The Longhorns
feel as if they can go as far as their quarterback and team leader can take them. McCoy has a National Championship Ring from when he red-shirted in 2005, However, he does not wear it. He feels that he did not earn it.

The main driving force behind McCoy returning for his senior season is that he wants a ring he can wear with pride. The Longhorns will be playing the 2009 season with a bit of a chip on the shoulder after being left out of last year's Big 12 title game because of the tiebreaker.

"We worked so hard to win 12 games, and everybody that's coming back this year knows how hard we worked to win 12," McCoy said. "The intensity's picked up a little bit."

I like the Longhorns to come out of the Big 12 and possibly be playing to the BCS Title in January.
